    Friends first: It took me like, three years, but I fully get it now!

    I feel dumb.....Not just dumb, but turbo dumb. Chris' comment on my last post (although he has been telling me the same thing for a year now) made me understand what the "friends first" approach to relationships fully entails. When I had first heard about the one you will love being your "best friend first" I just thought you got to know the person, be friends..Then date....WRONG!!!.... That just makes things worse because then you don't just lose a boyfriend/girlfriend....You lose a friend. Pointless. But if you just don't date, and let things go as they go, then its a lot better. If God means for you to be with that person, they will be in your life....Dating or otherwise, so why make it harder than it is!  I have a real post almost finished, I promise. it will get posted sometime this week.....
