Doctors

Sometimes I wonder how some people get to become doctors.I have went to both some of the most highly revered, and the little known, and believe it or not, some of the best in my opinion are the latter. For example. a couple weeks ago I want to a liitle known Doctor, who in 10 minutes was able to diagnose a problem that has took 6 years for anyone to even guess at. Most people upon hearing this shake their heads and say "No, he must be a quack" but seriously, he did. Even some top specialists swore it was one thing, suggested major surgery, and ruled out me having children. This doctor did a check up, ran tests and come to find out, it is my intestines ( which i had a similar prob before) gave me some pills, and I haven't had a problem since. the other thing that worries me is nurse practitioners. I hopefully may oneday take this route, but i hope and pray that i am more knowledgeable than many i have came across. I have went to a few who you would never be able to tell that they were not top rated specialists.thay were knowledgeable and thorough (which is my goal) but others seriously make me wonder. I actually went to one where I had more medical knowledge than she did sometimes and had to correct her more than once. She even went as far as to tell me that when a major, common medication she herself prescribed for me wasn't doing what it was supposed to , that it's ok if it doesn't work, it's working. my question: how can it be working IF IT'S NOT WORKING?!? It's like saying "You know that blood pressure pill you have been taking? Well, It's not lowering your blood pressure, and it might cause some medical issues, but that's ok, it's working" she was also really judgemental and made me feel like that worst christian ever. I made the mistake of not saving myself and totally regret it, and everytime I see her, she say's "God's way is the best way, Abstinence is the only option, you should have followed that" yes, I agree, with the first part, but she acts like It was an unforgiveable sin, or that I am wearing a huge scarlet S on my forehead for SLUT! ( which is my next post, but i will finish this one first) anyways, I just had to vent.
