Kate Moss, cocaine, and the unveiling of the true fashion world

People are making a huge deal of the recent video footage of Kate Moss snorting a line of cocaine at a party, but they have been overlooking the problem for decades, why act like it's a big surprise now? Many fashion houses are claiming that it is because they don't care what their models do as long as they are not seen doing it, as not to tarnish the houses image, but you can go backstage of many a show and see models ( both legal and underage) doing drugs and excessively drinking to "perfect their walk". I think if the rest of the world adopted the philosophy of a few of the modeling agencies in Israel, we would all be better off. With these top agencies, a model has to maintain a healthy weight and BMI, not participate in anything unhealthy and they encourage a good spiritual life, unlike our agencies where your spirituality (unless hugely mass marketable:ex. kabbalah) is discouraged and you're to be a skeletal, emotionless, atheistic mannequin basically. It's really sad, especially since these are the people our kids look up to. So my opinion is, rather than pointing fingers at Kate Moss and saying "HOW DARE YOU MAKE A MISTAKE!! I DON'T CARE IF YOU GET HELP!" (which if she does, I find it completely admirable) I think people should be more worried about the drug problem itself and try banishing it, not the people willing to speak up.
