They really need to create an international size chart...

Because shopping for pants is evil! I went shopping for some slacks for work and was both thrilled and horrified. I am still trying to lose my last 5 or 10 pounds (as i have posted before, I used to be pretty large) and went through this pretty hopefull. In one store, I am a 6, another a 4, another, a double- digit size so large I won't even say what it is (big enough to be considered plus-sized). And right now my 36" rear is sitting in a pair of size 1's, which is pretty much impossible in most stores. I understand everyone has a different body type so clothing will fit differently, but not the difference between a 1 and a 13!(My biggest size experienced was bigger than this, but i still ain't saying it!!!) Gap actually solved the body type crisis in their stores by offering 3 cuts of the same pant, one for boy shapes, one for curves, and the classic cut they have always gone by, and offering several different lengths. so, at Gap, a size 10 will wear a 10, no matter what her body type or height...genious!!! Just imagine if all stores did this and all had the same size chart! Personally, my vote is for the size chart ofering the smallest size!
