'Tis the day before christmas

I had a huge post planned, but I decided this was far more creative and really summarized my week. There are a few hidden shout outs in here, so even if your not in mentioned, I still luv ya!

Merry christmas!!!

'Tis the day before christmas and all through the house,
only Heidi is stirring who looks like a mouse.
The light were hung on the bushes with care,
In hopes that christmas soon would be there.
My family's at Wal-Mart fighting in line,
everyone hoping to save a dime.
All my tips were stolen just two nights before,
so now we're out spending, trying to save more.
stopped dancing and got diet coke in a dash,
unfortunately the guy behind me got off with my cash!
Thank goodness for regulars, loyal and true
left tips huge tips the next night and made me "woohooo!!!"
Druggies are evil, carhartt jackets too
If we'd caught the guy with my $$, he'd be saying "boo-hooo"
but anywho.....

The back 40 at Wal-Mart, that's where I park
hopefully I will be out before dark.
chickens, Ice cream, apples, and juice
an ugly sweater in the color chartruce
As we all hurry back to Brisco's big green
We remember why we're greatful for that SUV.
Little cars may get to zoom in and out,
but they sure don't try that when Brisco's about.
well, getting out of there sure was a breeze
with a squeal from the tires of the green SUV.

At home it is cooking, of pies and of sweets
and making a platter of cheeses and meats.
Then comes a short naptime, wish I was in bed,
as visions of mossy oak dance in my head.
Cutest, comfiest things ever seen
Wilderness dreams of dark brown and green.
After 5 minutes, I'm woke in my chair
I have to go back and brave the cold air.
'Twas the camera batteries that I had forgot,
so it's back to wal-mart parking lot
Standing in line for a good half- hour
while a man debates over telephone wire.

After a while I finally get back,
I get a letter from a lawyer, who doesn't know jack.
Injury audits, this is just great
no wonder the insurance payments are late
this second job sure better pull through
otherwise i'm im some real doo-doo


But even with this, I cannot complain
after all, tomorrow is christmas day.
It's the birthday of Jesus, King, Lord, Savior of all.
It's not about cookies, presents or the mall.
So I ask of everyone , the big and the small,
keep HIM the guest of honor, the most important thing of all.
